Council discussing Six Acres pre-annexation at Wednesday meeting
At its meeting this week, the Cloverdale City Council will be reviewing the city’s 2019-20 financial statements, discussing a pre-annexation agreement for the Six Acres Area, considering a request to establish no parking zones on Franklin Avenue and discussing the county’s five-year strategic plan at its next meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 10.
Applications open for two city commissions
Applications are currently open for seats on two of Cloverdale’s commissions. One position is available for the Sonoma County Library Commission and one alternate position is available on the Planning Commission. Applications for both are due Monday, Feb. 15.

Plaza reclaims its place as Healdsburg’s hub
Returning for its 10th year is Dia de Muertos, the Mexican folk holiday that has found a new home north of the border since 2016. Dia de Muertos was first recognized locally to mark Corazón’s inaugural community event, where it introduced the newly established organization to Healdsburg.
