As water use restrictions in Cloverdale tighten, people are adopting new behaviors and continuing old ones to help cut down on their residential water use.

Heat advisory, Red Flag Warning issued starting Thursday

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued both a heat advisory and a Red Flag Warning for the area in and around Sonoma County. The heat advisory is in place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1. The Red Flag Warning has been issued from 1 p.m. on Oct. 1 through 6 p.m. on Oct. 2.

I’m so happy to read of this ("The Row", July 3). What a fantastic use of the area and keeping within the historical “spirit” of Healdsburg and not selling out to a huge hospitality operation. Windsor moves forward with final map for redistricting

At the third of four required formal public hearings regarding the Town of Windsor’s redistricting process, which began in September of last year, the Windsor Town Council selected a final map at their March 2 meeting. 

Preparing for an onslaught of rain

Cloverdale city staff set up a sand pile at Cloverdale City Park this week in preparation for a predicted atmospheric river. The self-serve sand bag station is available for residents who need sand to help prevent flooding.

Windsor planning socially distanced Halloween activity

The Town of Windsor Parks and Recreation will be hosting a free Trick or Treat Trail at Keiser Park on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will require registration from participants, details of which will be coming soon.

March 2 is the birthday of iconic children’s author Dr. Seuss, and it has become a national school holiday of sorts, Read Across America.
