Healthcare Foundation raises over $450,000 for local COVID response

The Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County(HCF) hosted its first-ever virtual gala on Saturday, Aug. 29, raising $453,380 at the event and lead-up fundraising for various funding needs including its Emergency Healthcare Fund.

Monday Sept. 30, An officer near Carl’s Jr. on Vine Street stopped a subject on a bike, arresting a 49-YO man and transporting him to county jail for possession of methamphetamine, violation of probation, shoplifting and on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding failure to appear on a felony charge.... CPD hosting prescription drug collection this Saturday

The Cloverdale Police Department is giving folks the opportunity to turn in expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs on Saturday. The event, held in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will go from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 24.

First, second and third cases of community spread of COVID-19 identified

In a press conference at noon on March 15, county officials confirmed that the first case of community spread of COVID-19. The infected individual is an employee of Rohnert Park Medical Center, and individuals who have been in contact with that person are in the process of being notified, according to interim-public health officer Dr. Sundari Mase. Another person who has been in direct contact with the infected subject has been tested and is in self-quarantine.
