City hall, library tagged with graffiti

The exterior walls of the Sebastopol Library and City Hall were tagged with several pieces of graffiti last Wednesday, July 1, or early Thursday morning. Most of the more offensive tags were removed but one “BLM” spray painted tag was still visible Thursday.

Grocery Outlet has opened in Windsor after taking over the space vacated by Office Depot last year. The store and the Chamber of Commerce hosted a masked ribbon cutting on Feb. 4 to welcome the store to town. Grocery Outlet Windsor celebrated its grand opening by making a donation to the Windsor Presbyterian Church food pantry. The store is located at 6400 Hembree Lane, and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

According to a statement from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), on June 11 at approximately 5:51 p.m. SCSO dispatch received multiple 911 calls from residents near Michael Hall Park, located in the 400 block of Jane Drive in Windsor. The callers reported hearing multiple gunshots and seeing people running from the park.
