Chamber honors top businesses

Five individual business organizations were singled out for their popularity and community leadership at an annual Business of the Year awards on Friday, July 13, sponsored by the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce. The event was an outdoor barbecue at the Villa Chanticleer, catered by KR Catering.

Sonoma Academy wins prestigious AIA environmental award

Sonoma Academy, a private high school, received a prestigious architectural award in New York City for its new Guild and Commons (GAC) building which is a Zero Net Energy and LEED Platinum facility. The award was one of the top 10 in the nation given by the American Institute of Architects for environmentally designed buildings.
