School board reviewing maintenance plan, in-person learning for next year

The Cloverdale Unified School District (CUSD) Board of Trustees is holding a regular meeting this week and is scheduled to discuss a small handful of construction and maintenance related items, as well as consider and take possible action on approving a resolution committing to having students return for in-person learning by the first day of the 2021-22 school year. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19.

Monday, Dec. 16: An officer stopped a vehicle on Matheson Street at Center Street for suspicion of having expired registration. The vehicle displayed a license plate that did not belong to the vehicle. Through a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded handgun and about half an ounce of suspected methamphetamines. A 36-YO woman and 51-YO man were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and having forged or altered registration.
