Windsor’s district elections likely to stay after racial polarization study
Hopes of abandoning the Windsor Town Council’s highly criticized district-based elections system suffered a devastating blow this week, after a study by consultant Best, Best & Krieger (BB&K) found that racially polarized voting does, in fact, occur in Windsor.
Low-income adults eligible for discount ride on SMART
Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) announced Thursday that the commuter rail agency would begin participating in the new Clipper START pilot program, allowing lower-income adults aged 19-64 to receive a fare discount of 50% on the SMART system.
Living Peace Wall ceremony canceled for the year
