PG&E resource center coming to Citrus Fair
As tens of thousands of Sonoma County residents prepare to have their power shut off as part of a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) from Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), the Cloverdale Citrus Fair is opening its doors to be one of a handful of Community Resource Centers (CRC) throughout the county.
Around the World in 20 Blocks celebrates global cuisine in Windsor
Since traveling the world has become difficult this year, the Windsor Chamber of Commerce invites visitors to enjoy cuisine from around the globe while enjoying a colorful exhibit created by local artists. “Around the World in 20 Blocks” will bring together food and art throughout the town, and hopefully drive some pandemic-safe local dining.
Friends, Food, and Fun on Fitch Mountain
The Third Annual Fitch Mountain Fun Night will take place at the Villa Chanticleer Annex on Sunday, Jan. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. Although sponsored by the Fitch Mountain Association, as in other years the free event is open to all friends of the mountain, whether they live there or beyond. The dinner will be potluck and the cooking competition will be a cake bake-off. The after-dinner entertainment is “Fitch Mountain Bingo,” with unique cards and a variety of white elephant gifts and local merchant certificates as prizes for letter bingos and blackouts.
