Small Shiloh blaze
A small fire broke out on the northbound side of Highway 101, between the Airport Boulevard and Shiloh Road exits on Sunday, July 12 around 5 p.m. The fire burned a patch of grass along the roadside and encroached into an adjoining vineyard. The fire was under control in about 25 minutes and fully cleaned up in another 30 minutes.
City to limit gun sales, will not be allowed downtown
The Healdsburg City Council voted Tuesday night to limit firearms sales to industrial and commercial zones outside the downtown area and created 500-foot buffer zones elsewhere, around schools, churches, parks and similar land uses.

Stage face-off: Revenge vs. rivalry
Local audiences seeking a solid presentation of an American theatrical classic have two very diverse options right now. The Raven Performing Arts Theater hosts Stephen Sondheim’s massive macabre musical, "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street," while The 222 offers Sam Shepard’s more intimate fraternal drama, "True West."
