Jimenez appointed to mayoral seat, Kelley to serve as vice mayor

Despite going late into the night after a long agenda and a raucous start to the meeting, in the annual reshuffling of the council seats, the Healdsburg City Council selected Vice Mayor Ozzy Jimenez as the new mayor of Healdsburg following a unanimous vote and a nomination by Mayor Evelyn Mitchell. Councilmember Ariel Kelley will serve as the city’s vice mayor.

Cloverdale City Council discussing council vacancy, drought conditions

At its regular meeting on Wednesday, May 12, the Cloverdale City Council will discuss its newly vacant council seat, consider proclaiming a local emergency due to drought conditions and annual assessments for Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District Zones 1-7. The council will also reorganize, selecting a mayor for the term ending in December 2021 and appointing a vice mayor, if necessary.
