Eagles claim Cloverdale softball tourney championship
The defending league and North Coast Section softball champion Lady Eagles sent a strong message to all future opponents in their own Cloverdale Varsity Tournament on Saturday — we’re back.
Decking the Halls, Dec. 5
FESTIVE FUN — Ms. Miranda’s first grade class (pictured above) joined a handful of classes from Jefferson Elementary to decorate Christmas trees in downtown businesses on Thursday, Dec. 5. Students were welcomed at each participating business with a tree waiting for decorations, and some treats. Ms. Miranda’s class decorated a tree for the Cloverdale Reveille and Mail Center, Etc. office.
Fiddling Around, March 7
JAM SESSSION — The 43rd annual Old Time Fiddle Festival was held last weekend on March 7. The festival came back after a yearlong hiatus and seemed to take a hit in attendance as a result of COVID-19. During the event, event director Judith Jones said that two scheduled vendors dropped out before the event due to the virus and that she expected attendance took a hit for the same reason.

Cloverdale’s Cooling Center
The Cloverdale Senior Multipurpose Center served as a cooling station opened by the county of Sonoma on Aug. 17 and 18. As temperatures reached local highs, Cloverdalians were able to spend some socially-distanced time at the center to cool off.
