Healdsburg releases its evacuation zone map
The city of Healdsburg recently released its own citywide evacuation zone map, a tool that will streamline the evacuation process and make it easier for first responders to relay information to residents in the event of an evacuation.
One person has filed application for vacant council seat in Cloverdale
As of Wednesday afternoon, May 25, the city of Cloverdale has only received one application for its vacant Cloverdale City Council seat. According to city clerk Irene Camacho-Werby, council veteran Joe Palla is the only person who has turned in an application thus far.

Update: According to Commissioner Herrod, SD Media Productions has withdrawn their application for their proposed event in May, 2022. Consequently, the item will not go before the Healdsburg City Council.

County and several jurisdictions reach $31 million settlement with PG&E over Kincade Fire damages
The County of Sonoma, city of Healdsburg, city of Cloverdale, city of Santa Rosa and town of Windsor reached a $31 million settlement announced on May 26 with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) for public and natural resource injuries and damages caused by the 2019 Kincade Fire. The Kincade Fire burned 77,758 acres and destroyed 374 structures.
Update: Missing Sebastopol area boys found safe
The two young boys from the Sebastopol area reported missing as of Wednesday morning, March 26 have been “found safe,” according to a 12:14 p.m. Nixle alert entered by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
Strickland named Managing Editor
Zoë Strickland has been named managing editor at Sonoma West Publishers (SWP). Prior to being selected as managing editor, Strickland served as the editor of the Cloverdale Reveille, beginning in 2018.
