Windsor tweaks draft of objective design standards
At a special study session on June 30, the Windsor Town Council and the Windsor Planning Commission sat down to discuss a draft of the town’s Multi-Family Residential Objective Design Standards.
Council to mull over potential uses for city-owned sites
The Healdsburg City Council will hold a special workshop on Jan. 21 at 4 p.m. prior to their regular meeting at 6 p.m, to discuss the future of the city-owned Cerri Building and site at 3 North St. They will also discuss affordable housing and mixed-use plan options for two other sites, 155 Dry Creek and Saggio Hills, a 91.11-acre development in the north end of town off of Healdsburg Avenue.

2017 goals should include plan for sustainable tourism
We request that the city of Healdsburg’s 2017 goals include a plan for sustainable tourism. The plan would initiate a study and eventually create a set of measures to balance tourism growth with the needs of residents and the economic and social costs associated with tourism. Importantly, to maintain the land use status quo while a study is pending, the city should immediately enact a moratorium on new hotel and tasting room approvals.
