The Windsor Unified School District (WUSD) is holding a special meeting Tuesday night, Jan. 26, to discuss graduation requirements for this year’s seniors.
Suspect arrested outside Windsor after chase through county
According to a statement from the Santa Rosa Police Department, on Jan. 25, at 8:27 am, a victim of a vehicle hit and run called the Santa Rosa Police Department and stated he was following the suspect vehicle, near Third Street at Davis Street. The vehicle was described as a green Jeep Cherokee.
Rotary Club grant applications open
The Rotary Club of Windsor has begun the search to identify the major beneficiary or beneficiaries of the Windsor Rotary Community Foundation for 2021. Funds are raised to provide support for community projects with fundraisers throughout the year, including a major fundraiser in the spring.
WSCUHSD could pay estimated $70,000 for demographic study following letter
The West Sonoma County High School District (WSCUHSD) caught another rock in the rudder when some of El Molino High School’s most consistent and vocal advocates sent a letter to Superintendent Toni Beal saying they believed the district’s at-large trustee election method falls short of the purpose of the California Voting Rights Act of 2001 (CVRA).
County chosen to help pilot vaccination program
Days after discussing its plight with getting more COVID-19 vaccinations into the arms of residents, Sonoma County announced that it has been selected to take part in a pilot vaccination program through OptumServe. The county is one of four that will take part in the clinic pilot program.

The California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division received a complaint on Dec. 18, 2020 regarding Healdsburg Senior Living, alleging that the facility has insufficient staffing and staff training, and isn’t meeting its residents’ needs.
