HJH students perform
On Dec. 7, 2012 at the Fitch Mountain Campus, the Healdsburg Junior High Spanish class students performed a dance entitled “Los Machetes” as part of the “Navidad Mexicana” Christmas celebration for the families of both the Spanish speaking and English speaking community. The dance was taught to the students by a community member (Mrs. Yolanda Giron), who was a former dancer for the Ballet Folkloric Dance Group in Oaxaca, Mexico. The performance was a huge success as it validates the importance of experiencing the culture when learning a foreign language. Pictured above are (l-r): T. Van Vranken, K. Robberts, A. Nuñez, A. This year the Villa will remain dark and all the boisterous live auction action will take place virtually on the club’s website (www.healdsburgrotary.org.) But there will be crab to eat from DL Catering, which will take preorders and deliver crab cakes and iceberg wedge salads for $70, serving two people.

Johnson is not only the owner of All-Around Auto Windsor, he is a husband father, and grandfather; when his children were younger, they also participated in scouting.
