No new business at next council meeting

The next meeting of the Cloverdale City Council, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. will be small, and likely short in duration. The council will be viewing one presentation, approving its consent calendar and discussing no new business items. At their meeting on Oct. 20, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to allocate approximately $4 million to support an enhanced series of strategies to assist with outreach to COVID-19 case curbing in at-risk communities.

Distance learning continuing through winter break

Following similar decisions round the county, the Windsor Unified School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to continue in distance learning through winter break at their meeting on Oct. 20.

Facing a 20% drop in revenues, Sebastopol dips into reserves

The city of Sebastopol approved the adoption of the 2020-21 budget at the Oct. 20 Sebastopol City Council meeting. Last week, on Oct. 14, an entire special meeting of the council was devoted to a consideration of a budget.
