Deputies arrest Santa Rosa man on multiple felonies after suspected attack in Camp Meeker

Deputies arrested a Santa Rosa man suspected of breaking into a woman’s home and attacking her in Camp Meeker before he led officers on a roughly six-mile car chase until the suspect lost a tire and spun out Saturday night, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page.

Despite new guidelines from governor, school opening remains out of reach

In a letter released on Jan. 8, Windsor Unified School District Superintendent Jeremy Decker addressed the newly released guidelines for school reopening released by Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Huffman holding town hall about Capitol riots

Tomorrow, Congressman Jared Huffman, D-San Rafael, is holding a town hall to discuss the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol. Huffman will be on various social platforms to answer questions and provide a report on the insurrection that occurred at the Capitol. The town hall will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 12 from 4 to 5 p.m.

Nomination papers now being accepted for special election to fill town council vacancy

Following the most recent town council meeting, consensus was reached to hold a special election  on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, to fill the town council at-large seat vacated by the election of Dominic Foppoli to the at-large Mayor seat. The remaining term expires December 2022.
