West Side Union School District’s Measure F projected to pass in close call race
Measure F, a $7.5 million general obligation bond (G.O.) for West Side School improvements and facility updates, projected to pass Tuesday night in a close race with 57.20% of the “yes” votes and 42.80% the “no” votes according to the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters. In order to pass the bond required a 55% supermajority vote.
Russian River dam inflated early due to February drought
Due to a dry February and warm temperatures, the Sonoma County Water Agency (Sonoma Water) today began the process of inflating its rubber dam located in the Russian River near Forestville. The rubber dam is a critical component of the Russian River water supply system that provides naturally filtered drinking water to more than 600,000 residents in portions of Sonoma and Marin counties.
Measure H projected to pass
Healdsburg’s Measure H, a measure that seeks to alter some of the language in the city’s Growth Management Ordinance (GMO) to allow for the sale in addition to the rental of a number of income-restricted units, projected to pass Tuesday night with 65.60% of the “yes” votes and 34.40% of the “no” votes according to the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters.

Geyserville school measure too close to call
Geyserville Unified School District’s Measure A bond measure was winning by a narrow margin Wednesday morning, though an unknown quanitity of mail-in and drop-off ballots still have to be counted. The measure, which needed a 55% “yes” vote, received 55.3% of the vote as of 2 a.m. on March 4, with all seven area precincts reporting.
