Letters: Readers take issue with stories
I’m so happy to read of this ("The Row", July 3). What a fantastic use of the area and keeping within the historical “spirit” of Healdsburg and not selling out to a huge hospitality operation. Real estate market shifts as Healdsburg adapts
Take 401 Piper St. It was a great product, so we priced it at the absolute top end of comparable properties and we found two buyers to bid up the price beyond expectations to sell it in a day. The buyers were out-of-town buyers looking for a retirement place—the perfect buyers.
Healdsburg city staff, departments don’t go on vacation
Though the Healdsburg City Council and citizens commissions have suspended their meetings for a traditional July break, other city departments continue to work throughout the summer months. Following the June 19 acceptance of a new striping plan for March Avenue, part of a longstanding plan to improve that transportation corridor, the city’s Public Works Department is again requesting public input in determining its priorities for the coming year.
