Health district sells hospital
                    The long and byzantine struggle over Sebastopol’s hospital came to an end this week when the Palm Drive Health Care District sold west county’s only hospital to American Advanced Management Group (AAMG) and Sonoma Specialty Hospital (SSH) for $2 million in cash.                
                
            Wet tractor parade
                    WET TRACTORS — Heavy rains fell on this year's Geyserville Lighted Tractor Parade on Saturday, Nov. 30 but there were plenty of well-lighted truck, tractor and farm machinery entries and a smaller crowd than in past years. State Senator Mike McGuire and county supervisor James Gore did the honors for lighting the community holiday tree and starting a round of holiday singing. The parade is sponsored by the Geyserville Chamber of Commerce and participating members.

                    TROTTERS — The fifth annual Healdsburg Turkey Trot drew a field of 100-plus runners, strollers, walkers, canines and spectators Thanksgiving morning.

            Tourism district contributes $100k to chamber marketing campaign
                    The Healdsburg Tourism Improvement District (HTID) voted Nov. 21 to contribute $100,000 to the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce’s post-fire recovery campaign. The chamber is leading efforts to support local businesses that have suffered due to closures and cancelations during the fire and to counter misinformation regionally and nationally that could lead to residual losses in the coming months.
