Long in the list of cities impacted by last week’s atmospheric river was Geyserville. While Geyserville and north county as a whole didn’t receive the brunt of the storm — roadways were impacted and some residents experienced flooding.

In the early morning hours of Friday March 1 there were five different incidents of vandalism all over the city where vehicles had their windows smashed, causing thousands of dollars in damage.

Mayor meeting at the high school — Student journalists from the Hounds Bark at Healdsburg High School arranged a Q&A and discussion meeting with Healdsburg Mayor David Hagele on Feb. 27. Hounds Bark editor-in-chief Emma Tremont said she wanted to give students a chance to find out what’s happening around town and what Hagele’s role is as mayor.
