Sonoma County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 19-year-old Santa Rosa man after a fight involving a hatchet Wednesday afternoon near the 700 block of Dry Creek Road in Healdsburg.
Training program for young tradespeople available to high school students
The LIME Foundation has partnered with Conservation Corps North Bay (CCNB) in Cotati to offer the Climate Smart Construction Training Program to young adults ages 18-26. The program, a hybrid between The LIME Foundation’s NextGen Trades Academy and workforce training programming offered through CCNB, aims to train and place students in construction careers.

The City of Healdsburg has an expansive backyard of natural resources for recreation and nature lovers from rolling green pastures and vineyards, parks, gurgling streams and the Russian River; however, Healdsburg has a craving for more, at least as reported by the official SDAT (Sustainable Design Assessment Team) and Healdsburg 2040 report, which was released late November.
County looking for homeless count volunteers
Sonoma County’s annual point-in-time homeless count is looking for volunteers. The count will take place on Jan. 25 and needs around 100 volunteers to help count Sonoma County’s homeless population.
