Homecoming for 103-year-old schoolboy
Stewart Wade, 103 years young, used a walker to get from the car to the stairs, but he climbed the six wooden stairs to the restored Daniels School with only a little assistance.
Healdsburg City Council to discuss new subdivisions
The Healdsburg City Council is scheduled to review and possibly approve two new housing projects Monday night. The 29-unit “Oaks at Foss Creek” subdivision near the corner of Grove and Chiquita Roads, has been extensively reviewed by the Healdsburg Planning Commission, which resulted in multiple revisions of the plan before it was approved.
Fitch Mountain Forever fundraiser and hike is next weekend, April 22
The Fitch Mountain Fund will host the Fitch Mountain Forever fundraiser and hike on Sunday, April 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Villa Chanticleer in Healdsburg. Fitch Mountain Park and Open Space Preserve, the 173 acres on top of Fitch Mountain, was officially transferred to the City of Healdsburg in November 2017.
