The Windsor Unified School District (WUSD) has announced a special meeting to take place Tuesday, March 2 at 6 p.m. to address two important topics which show the strain of COVID on the district; namely layoffs and standardized testing.

Local kids celebrate completion of summer-long art project
Kids in Healdsburg who participated in the Heartizens “Includitude Project,” (HIP) an interactive project that encourages kids to get creative and follow along in a series of art projects with a kit of supplies, celebrated the completion of their work with an Amy’s Wicked Slush at the community center on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
Healdsburg school district to start school year at a distance
The Healdsburg Unified School District (HUSD) held a virtual town hall meeting on July 16 to discuss district reopening plans, however, HUSD Superintendent Chris Vanden Heuvel prefaced the discussion by stating that the district will start out the year in a full distance learning environment for all grades.
