Council approves lease agreement for cell tower
After much deliberation, discussion and a 4-1 vote on May 17, the Healdsburg City Council approved a land lease agreement between the city of Healdsburg and GTE Mobilnet of California Verizon Wireless for the construction and operation of a 70-foot wireless telecommunications tower at 923 South Fitch Mountain Road adjacent to Tayman Park Golf Course.
Brewing adventure in Cloverdale
A new coffee kiosk, Rockin’ A Adventure Café, opened its drive-up windows to Cloverdale earlier this month. The adventure-themed café is located on South Cloverdale Boulevard in front of Renner Petroleum.

Healdsburg council adopts revised Emergency Operations Plan
During a recent Healdsburg City Council meeting, a resolution was approved to update the Healdsburg Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). The update is meant to create a plan that will reflect increased community engagement as well as address new forms of emergency circumstances. The resolution received positive feedback and was successfully approved unanimously.
Sebastopol is asking residents to report pavement issues
The city of Sebastopol is asking folks in the community to write in and report any problems they see with pavement in the city limits. The pavement survey hotline, which folks can access by calling 707-634-5100 or by emailing [email protected], will be open through Sept. 13.
Benedetti car wash is headed to Sebastopol Avenue
The Sebastopol City Council gave the highly debated Benedetti car wash the greenlight after nearly three hours of discussion at its extended March 2 public hearing and deliberation.
Mill Bend property preserved along Gualala River
Mill Bend, the scenic property at the mouth of the Gualala River, has been secured by a conservation buyer in partnership with Redwood Coast Land Conservancy (RCLC) as the major step in preserving and protecting the Gualala River estuary, the gateway to the Gualala River watershed.
