WSCUHSD aims to hire new consolidated high school principal in weeks
The West Sonoma County Union High School District (WSCUHSD) has yet to determine the new name, mascot and colors of the consolidated high school launching this fall, but the school may have its principal by April 14, according to Director of Human Resources Mia Del Prete at the March 16 special board meeting.

Windsor Town Council reviews lighting and landscape district assessments
At its meeting on April 21, the Windsor Town Council proceeded with the second of three meetings regarding the assessments of the town’s lighting and landscape districts. The districts help support the cost of maintaining parks, streetlights, street landscaping and the Windsor Senior Center. An increase in the assessment cost based on the cost of living index is being proposed and will be discussed at a public hearing on Jun 16.

Windsor resident donates food and pizza to first responders after call for donations
Windsor resident Alim Charaniya, with the help of community donations, raised $2,500 to purchase 40 boxes of pizza, and a copious amount of food and drinks for firefighters and police officers in Windsor, Healdsburg and Geyserville.
