Public life goes dark
One month ago, all of Sonoma County’s “public life” was put off limits. No schools, locked parks, barricaded beaches, no dining out or casual shopping trips. Gathering places where conversations and friendships get shared are taboo. Libraries, coffee shops, brewpubs, art galleries and any space smaller than six feet square, are now officially declared uninhabitable.
Diaper Derby returns to Citrus Fair
The Cloverdale Citrus Fair’s annual diaper derby was back at it again this weekend, as some of Cloverdale’s youngest community members raced to the finishing line on Saturday, April 16. The one requirement for the derby is that participating babies be unable to walk — they can only crawl.
Windsor Chili Cook-Off returns this weekend
Windsor is holding its 8th annual Chili Cook-Off this Saturday, complete with live music, activities and, of course, all the chili one could want. The event is on Sept. 11 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Windsor Town Green.
