Windsor house fire damages two homes
A house fire on Pistachio Place in Windsor jumped from one home to a neighboring one, damaging both homes significantly and requiring the Sonoma County Fire District (SCFD) to reach out through their mutual aid agreements for help in putting the blaze out.
Inspiring potluck event for college-bound students
On Tuesday, Feb. 27, a select group of Healdsburg High School students who aspire to attend four-year colleges attended an inspiring potluck dinner at the Healdsburg Community Center, hosted by FirstGen College Counseling and Corazón Healdsburg.
West County High activists ask for plaques removal
Students from West County High School (WCHS) have voiced their concerns over two plaques at the school they believe promote racism and xenophobia. An April 13 West Sonoma County High School District Board of Trustees meeting included an agenda item about the plaque removal request.
