Their relationship has had a profound effect on Rose-Brown, but in the last few years she’s become aware of the fact that friendships like this are rare. The Healdsburg Unified School District (HUSD) will receive over $1 million in state and federal funds to be used this summer and over the next few years for expanded learning opportunities and social and emotional support to address the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on children and learning.
New retail license outlines restrictions for tobacco sales
The Sebastopol City Council approved the adoption of a tobacco retail license for the city at its most recent meeting on Sept. 15. Chief among the reasons an ordinance regulating tobacco sales and businesses was proposed is the increase of youth tobacco use through vaping.
