Faced with the task of crafting a ballot measure that was accurate, legal and appealing to the average voter, the Healdsburg City Council took pains to review the recommended wording for a November ballot measure that would amend the 24-year-old Growth Management Ordinance, or GMO.

 The pandemic exposed all manner of inequalities, including access to high speed internet. Almost a quarter of California households did not have broadband subscriptions in 2019, according to a report from California Broadband Council. 

CUSD trustees talking wellness, reopening, district property at next meeting

At its next regular meeting on Nov. 18, the Cloverdale Unified School District (CUSD) Board of Trustees will be viewing a presentation about the district’s wellness resources website, receiving a presentation and possibly giving direction related to the undeveloped district property at the south end of Cloverdale and will be revisiting its reopening plan.

The Cloverdale City Council’s first meeting back at the Cloverdale Performing Arts Center will be a small one, with a presentation about the Cloverdale Fire Protection District’s wildfire protection plan and two regular business items, one designating a voting delegate and the other considering the cancellation of the council’s Aug. 25 and Sept. 22 meetings. Graduation plans for district coming into focus

As one of the strangest school years in history comes to an end, one of the questions being discussed at every level is how normal end-of-year activities will go, primarily graduations and promotions. At the April 20 meeting of the Windsor Unified School District Board of Trustees, the district unveiled their plans, though the ever-shifting nature of the pandemic makes finalizing plans difficult.
