After her husband’s extensive back surgery, Jeanette Zwinger noticed he was starting to act differently. Her husband Richard, an avid flying enthusiast and former Air Force member who lived life with a sense of adventure, began to show cognitive decline after suffering a heart attack a few days after his back surgery. Richard’s “on-the-go, onto-the-next-thing” personality had declined almost into a state of delirium, and his wife was unsure of how she could continue caring for him.

The six-room Duchamp Hotel on Foss Street will be revamped with the addition of 14 new rooms and a brand new lobby/amenity building.

Concluding the Sebastopol City Council’s third budget discussion earlier this month, Mayor Una Glass called for Sebastopol city staff to prepare a final city budget for the fiscal year 2021-22 for adoption at the upcoming July 20 city council meeting.

"I was so happy to see that the City of Healdsburg has given us a chance to suggest an official City flower, plant or tree as representative of Healdsburg," writes reader Mary Kelley.
