Eagles girls cross country team wins Coastal Mountain Championship

On Wednesday, Nov. 13 the CHS Girls Cross Country runners captured an NCL 1 League championship after having an undefeated season for the past two years. The team earned a first place finish in a field of 17 teams, eight from the NCL 1, eight from NCL 2 and one independent team.

Lady Eagles fall to Middletown in NCS playoffs

The Lady Eagles finished up a championship fall soccer campaign last week, falling to Middletown, 3-1 in the semifinals of North Coast Section Division-3 playoffs.

Eagles Cross Country girls end season undefeated

At their final meet on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Willits, the Eagle girls ended their regular season undefeated for the second year in a row. With five runners on each team Cloverdale, with 21, handily beat Willits and Clearlake whose final scores were 51 and 52 respectively.  St. Helena did not have five runners, so their team finishes did not count.

Eagles fall to Middletown 47-7 in home grid finale

The varsity football Eagles saw their three-game win streak snapped on Oct. 25, falling to visiting perennial NCL-1 power Middletown, 47-7 in the home finale at Jack Allen Stadium.
